JIQ EPIC Fall 2010
Dates: Sept. 10 leave ATL, Sept 19 arrive back in ATL
Cost: No more than $3000, depending on airfare
(price includes roundtrip airfare, in-country transportation, hotels, home-stay costs, meals, touring services, and materials–essentially everything except spending money, snacks/airport food, and tips.)
Locations: We will mainly be in the areas of Hebron, Qumran, Nablus, Sea of Galilee, Jerusalem, and an overnight stay with a Palestinian family in Bethlehem.
Vision: To encounter the people of this region in their context and learn how we can relate to them effectively and Biblically. For thousands of years, the great question rising from this land has been, “What can bring true peace?” During our trip, we will spend considerable time seeking the biblical answers to those questions (in the places where they were originally revealed!) and interacting with Christians, Jews, and Muslims in their context. The trip will culminate with 2 days in and around the Old City of Jerusalem with a plethora of opportunities to Encounter People In Context!
